This video features a look at New York, Susquehanna & Western's Utica NY local as it goes about its work on March 20th.

Opening scene: the five-car train (with CSX leaser No. 2514 up front) heads down Utica's Schuyler Street bound for a customer in nearby New Hartford.

Following scenes:

1) along Utica's Arterial (NYS Routes 5, 8 & 12);

2) off the Utica main, on former West Shore tracks (note milepost 233);

3) on former NYO&W tracks switching Oneida Warehouse, New Hartford;

4) back on the West Shore, French Road, Utica, shoving a few empties then running around the train; and

5) on Schuyler Street again heading back to the yard.

Really good capturing essence of a local.  Lady shouldn't get between a railfan and his  train.   Smile.
