NS 8101 on the AGS South

NS 8101, the Central of Georgia Heritage Unit, leads train 355 across the MS state line at Kewanee. This is the last leg of NS' AGS South District. Once in Meridian, the train will get on NS' NO&NE District for the trip to New Orleans to be handed off to the UP.

Thanks for posting this great pic.  The 8101 is a strikingly beautiful  engine that performed for me nicely in our one trip together.  When I see it, I think about the old "CenterRoad" officers I worked with.  They were good guys - real railroaders, and they would have been proud to see the 8101.
