Happy to see the two F units that came from the Southern Rwy of New Jersey.  Unit facing the camera was in a New York Ontario & Western color scheme.  The unit behind it was done in black and red in a quasi-Rock Island paint scheme but carried Miss Liberty logo and SRNJ lettering.
Will be interesting to see how they emerge from the shop in the future.

I was in Port Clinton a few weeks ago and did some roster shots, without any hassles. As I was driving out, I had to laugh at the sign near the exit. "Thanks for visiting"!!!

Over my 50+ years of railfanning (and occasional trespassing) I can't remember if I ever saw a sign like that at any railroad facility.

I see that the 2 RDG FP-7A at Steamtown were sold to a tourist line in NJ a few weeks ago. I wonder if the R&N tried to buy these engines as they would fit in nicely with there passenger operations.

Nice work birdman. Is the small structure with the "Molino" sign on it still in the area & if so did it get painted ?
Picture taken in 2012.

Good stuff Dick! By the way I love that you used the term “shifter” as it’s what my dad always called the power on the locals into Kutztown when I was growing up!

Molino "station" is visible in Birdman's final photo at the extreme left of image in front of lead diesel.

Only 903 was sold.  The Philly Chapter opted to sell it rather than lease it.  902 is and will remain owned by the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society and is being leased to SMS.

I love that photo of the switcher going by the station--very cozy, "Eastern" small town feel to it.  Really great photo.
