Nice pleasant day - temps in the low 70's

The most unusual thing today caught by the lens was a GREX ballast train moving west on the Lake Shore line.

1. Getting set to capture the ballast train and the 17N photobombs the shot. No problem, still plenty of time. 17N with NS 4200 and 4118 moves west at Vermilion Road about to cross over the Vermilion River and then take the connector for the run over the NKP to Bellevue.

2. Now on Track 1 is the 92X; GREX ballast train headed by NS 7585 and NS 1095. At the right edge of the photo he's going over the Nickel Plate line. The Lake Shore line here is a grade crossing, and just to my right down the street is the overpass where the NKP goes undergrade.

3. Watching the 92X go east.
