Interesting to view all this on google maps. We have shipped potatoes to Mister Bee in Parkersburg. Utz owns them.

Does anyone have a sense of traffic levels on this line and how they are trending. I recall after the power plant at the end ceased receiving coal that things looked pretty bleak. Curious if the current operator has been able to grow. Date: 11/27/24 06:54 Re: Belpre Industrial Parkersburg Railroad- Friday 11/15/24 Author: trainman7774 No. I did not catch the train on the High Bridge.
Chris Hughes Date: 11/27/24 07:08 Re: Belpre Industrial Parkersburg Railroad- Friday 11/15/24 Author: trainman7774 They seemed busy.
When I visited there were at least two crews on duty each of those days. Possibly, a third crew as well. One crew was on the Marietta Turn, the other worked the Kraton Corporation in Belpre, Ohio. Also, I believe there was also one working around the High Yard. The Marietta Turn runs Monday-Friday. It goes as far a customer demand. On Monday, the train went to Relief Ohio. On Tuesday and Friday, it went as far as Marietta. There seems to be a good amount of aggregate traffic on the line along with chemicals and other freight. But, not being from there, this was only my observations from my current visit.
