The Officers Car Special was coming south on the CE&D sub with brass in tow. My friend and I set up a plan to catch this train in three different locations. First clip is just north of Vincennes, IN in the Ft. Knox area and second clip is just south of Vincennes at our farm. After shooting the OCS in the Ft Knox area my friend drove down to Princeton, IN to catch it at the Alliance coal loop area.

I was looking at the dome car.  It is the B&O dome?   Not as tall as a Budd dome.  But the exterior of the dome appears different.  What am I seeing?

The "Moonlight Dome" was a B&O Dome car, but originally it was built for the C&O who in turn sold it to the B&O.  It is a beautiful car and that whole train is beautiful as it is a true "Heritage" train with everything painted exactly like the B&O Passenger Trains were back in the 1950's and 1960's.  Thanks for sharing the photo and the video.  I really enjoyed seeing them.
