At 1812 CDT Sunday 3/9/25, I happened to catch CSX manifest M503-09, which originates at BRC's Clearing Yard bound for CSX Radnor Yard in Nashville, on the Live Trains Blue Island South static cam. About 13 hours and 120 miles later, M503-09 appears in front of Virtual Railfan's Lafayette IN cam perhaps having picked up 3rd unit attached to a block from the Lafayette Yard. And, picking up the pace, M503 passes Virtual Railfan's Princeton IN live cam 5.5 hours and 170 miles later.

The number of possible routings this train could take Clearing->Blue Island and Blue Island->Thornton to gain the ex-Monon to Lafayette boggles my mind,

Might depend on whether this train works Barr Yard on the way...

Very well done! I like it! I missed seeing 503. I must have been at lunch when 503 passed by me. ;)  M502 is the northbound counterpart to M503. One crew takes these trains from Lafayette to Evansville. I'm 20 miles north of the Princeton cam. I host the CE&D and IL sub radio feed that is in the description of the VR Live Princeton cam. CSX trains I025, I026, I129 & I128 now have one crew that takes the train from Evansville, IN to Chicago. So the same crew will be on the Princeton cam as well as the Blue Island cam! 21 hour day for them if they dead head back to Evansvlle.
