NS 8102 on 171/CSX 3194 on M255
Author: Forever-Railfan-45

The past two days have been cloudy and that is when all the good stuff seems to roll thru. Yesterday (April 13) the NS 171 was led by the NS 8102 PRR heritage locomotive. Was unable to go to the PRR metal curved truss bridge as RJC had set off traffic for NS to retrieve sometime the next few days. So I had to settle for sixteenth street in Massillon, Ohio. Move forward to today (April 14) and the CSX 3194 locomotive was leading M225. After missing it few days prior on M224 I finally had some type of redemption. The Wheeling and Lake Erie went back east on track one therefore CSX dispatch routed the M225 to track two. Ironically this week is National Telecommunications week fire and police dispatchers. I was ten minutes late for work but it was worth it. Thanks for looking...

Thanks for risking your job to catch some unusual stuff. I was so lucky years ago when I and a fellow co-worker railfan, "Doctor Dick"/Rich Pattison, had a boss who was liberal enough to give us a lot of leeway to go shoot all sorts of stuff in the Philadelphia, PA area. Unusual moves, some "Railworks" bridge replacements, track rebuilds, signal replacements, new equipment, leased equipment, a day at SEPTA's Dispatching Headquarters and much more. Even a cab ride on a long deadhead operation to Lancaster, PA. Lancaster that was not served by SEPTA but their Parkesburg local continued west to make their reverse move at the Lancaster Station to follow the eastbound Broadway Limited! Great videos. We got our work done, We got our shots and video, and everyone went away happy and we collected our paychecks, Happy Times!

It was nice of them to let me be a little bit late to catch this. I work three minutes away from this bridge...
