NS 955 at the B4 about 1920.  I went to a location that would be well lit for the afternoon sun, but heavy clouds cover came in.  :-(

Isn’t Montpelier where James Madison had his estate?

I toured it a few years back and remember driving over a bridge leaving the property and seeing a station that is a dead ringer for the one in your second photo.

Yes. The estate has been extensively renovated in the decades since the du Pont family donated it.
