CSX M502 right before the thundershower

Yesterday evening M502 had two mid train DPU's with one being the 4568 Operation Lifesaver unit. I took the Polaris Ranger back to the end of the field and waited for 502 with dark storm clouds behnd me. I shot 502 with the drone, loaded back up in the Ranger and hightailed it back to the farm and parked the Ranger. I made it back up to the house and launched the drone to 400' and took these photos of the clouds. Right after I took the photos the wind began to really pick up but the drone came down like a champ, I grabbed it and shut it down. All was good.
The first storm photo is looking west and the second photo is looking north towards Vincennes, IN with the CE&D sub mainline in the photo.

A couple more photos. First is the M502 and second is the BNSF Frisco hopper, BNSF 483110. Last photo is of the top of the OLS unit showing what is written on top. I shot this in Nov. of 2022 when it was parked for a week in the Oaktown coal loop.
M502 is bound for Lafayette, IN

Very dramatic images on two and three. I agree I never knew the top of the 4568 looked like that. Nice catch!
