Rainy Day Along the Lehigh Line
Author: thebluecomet

Had some things to check at my daughter's new (hopefully) place in Piscataway, NJ.  After taking care of things I drove over to the local railfan favorite hotspot on Prospect Ave.

First train up was the eastbound NS 62V, an empty trash unit train.  Since he worked at Bridgewater Transfer, he was still over on track one.

Next was CSX I-104 running on track two.  I believe this is a detour due to the tunnel work in Baltimore, hence the even number on a westbound movement here.

A little while later another NS eastbound passed on two.  Didin't catch the symbol number unfortunately.

I did take obvious notice of one very important thing though.  The stone and gravel area where everyone parks had a pile of White Castle slider boxes just thrown on the ground in plain site.  Apparently(!) a fan earlier in the day had disregared the cardinal rule we should always observe.  Take only pictures, leave only footprints.
Dumping trash on someone else's property is a sure way to lose the courtesy that we may get to do our thing.
