Saturday Afternoon Passenger Special
Author: scraphauler

Saturday 6/7/25, 1pm, ACWR passenger special slowly drifts south through Pinewild Country Club in Pinehurst NC.  My understanding is was this was a charter for a birthday party.   ACWR offers charter service, regular dinner train service, mobile and stationary events, and all sorts of other trips.

Nice.  Are the Menzies still traveling or have they returned to the area?

They are home. They are hosting a luncheon for a charity golf tournament at Pinewild this coming Tuesday and then will have an open house on the train for the Pinewild neighborhood that afternoon/evening. (The Menzies live in Pinewild as do I). I assume the train will be everything on this train, plus I know they are bringing the 87, Caboose, and flat. Would not be surprised to see Menzies Vista and San Marino make an appearance as well.
