Eastern Railroad Discussion > North Shore versus Carload Express ?Date: 11/01/25 09:22 North Shore versus Carload Express ? Author: aehouse Years ago, there was an announcemen that Carload Express would be taking over operations of the North Shore and related lines (Nittany and Bald Eage, Lycoming Valley, etc.) in north central Pensylvania.
Thereafter, the matter got tied up in the courts, and I have seen nothing further about it. What is the current status? Art House Date: 11/01/25 10:13 Re: North Shore versus Carload Express ? Author: Lackawanna484 I don't believe the Carload Express takeover of the North Shore railroads happened.
