Eastern Railroad Discussion > Colorful day in southern IndianaDate: 11/03/25 18:41 Colorful day in southern Indiana Author: srman Autumn color is peaking around here and won't last long with rain and wind forcasted this weekend so out the door early this morning to catch a few trains. First up was CSX Y129 as he entered Indiana with the RF&P nose painted GP40-2 leading again at Ashland Park in Clarksville. At Corydon Jct. GMTX SW900 503 was setting out cars for the NS to pickup. Had to travel a little further west to catch the next one. NS 279 was being led with the Lehigh Valley 8104 and the blue 4001. Image is at Francisco Indiana. Thanks for looking, Joe Vittitoe.

Bob Date: 11/04/25 02:49 Re: Colorful day in southern Indiana Author: CSX2605 Very nice photos! Francisco?! You were very close to my stomping grounds. It does seem like one day you have color and the next day it's all gone. LOL! Last Wednesday's wind & rain took a small toll on the leaves around here.

Date: 11/05/25 07:21 Re: Colorful day in southern Indiana Author: ntharalson I am insanely jealous over the first picture. Scott Marsh and I visited that spot twice while going to Cincinnati and got skunked both times. You did a great job with it. Thanks for posting.
