Eastern Railroad Discussion > Reading & Northern's ex-B&LE F Units

Years ago, the Reading & Northern purchased ex-B&LE F Units #727 and #728.  I supposed they intended to restore these units.  But perhaps they changed their minds after purchase of ex-NS units in 2019.
Definitely will appreciate current information on the current status of #727 and #728; recent photos will be especially appreciated.

Jamie Makin posted a video on Nov.9th that covers the two former B&LE F's you asked about . RBMN plans to restore one of them to service , parts will come from the other unit . Port Clinton shop has a lot of work ahead on their plate .

Thanks very much for your info about Jamie Makin's video.  It was excellently made and was very informative.
According to the video #251 (ex-B&LE #728) wall be restored and #250 will be the donor unit.
Have attached my photo of B&LE #728 taken at Kaylor, PA in 1979.
