Or just another Wednesday in North Carolina.  

ACWR has two customers in Aberdeen at the CSX end of their railroad - Reliance Packaging and Bulldog Pipe, both of which receive carloads of plastic pellets.  Tycally, the CSX interchange job that runs 5-7 days a week takes care of these two customers.  But there are occasions when the interchange job is too big to do the work or they are short on time and other arrangements are made.  Yesterday seems to have been one of those occasions.  With an inbound unit train from CSX and the yard stuffed to the gills with inbound freight, an extra ended up running late last night.  Peering out into the darkness I could see that it was a single SD60F and a handful of cars.  This morning as the last of the fog was burning off, I hear a north bound coming. Thought it could be another grain train, but it turned out to be the extra returning to Candor - cowl end forward.   So in the first video, we see ACWR 5558 cowl forward with 1 empty from Bulldog and 2 M.O.W. Flats.  Not something you see everyday, even down here.   

This afternoon under sunny 72 degree skies, we see another extra - this time a passenger extra headed to the passenger car tracks in Pinehurst.
