OLD FORGE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Multiple train cars carrying wine were derailed Monday morning in the snow.The Old Forge Police Chief says up to 12 of 20 cars were derailed, and some went down an embankment in the 900 block of Moosic Road while traveling through the snow in Old Forge.  "Upon arrival, fire crews observed multiple railcars off the tracks, with three cars lying on their side, which were transporting wine,” stated the Lackawanna County Emergency Management Agency.EMA personnel were called and confirmed that no hazardous materials were present, and there was no risk to environmental or public safety.
