Loaded ethanol on the frozen tundra
Author: CSX2605

CSX B795 came south this morning with a touch of hoar frost on the trees & plants. The temp was around 5' with a light breeze. I had the ground camera and drone to catch the passing train. Most of the fog had lifted by the time B795 came south. Flying the drone left me with some frozen fingers! It was well worth the effort. When the weather warms a bit we might get some frosty tank cars like the one in the photo.
Taken on the CSX CE&D sub south of Vincennes, IN.
B795 is loaded ethanol, Linden IN - Tampa FL.

Really nice stuff there!  It's truly amazing how much drone photography has improved over the years and this video is a classic example.

Thansk for sharing. About how many cars were on the this train? Are these tank cars about 60 ft. long?

There were 98 cars plus two buffer hoppers. Not sure of the length of the tank cars but sounds about right.
