Eastern Railroad Discussion > Invading train1275 in Lake Erie land yesterdayDate: 02/28/26 18:14 Invading train1275 in Lake Erie land yesterday Author: bath_wildcat Yep heard that right. I had to make a run back to Ohio for a meeting with someone and so I figured that I woud while I was there "invade" train1275's location in Lake Erie land. To be honest, I had aquired a CN 2026 calandar at the unveiling of the CN 8357, so I figured I would message train1275, meet up and hand pass along the calandar to him. Although it was a short meeting, once my wife and I got there 29P was passing through town IIRC old 205 possibly). Had a great lunch and conversation with train1275 at Big Eds Soda shop (Good food). train1275 left as he had other things to do (its all good bud, no worries).
Wife and I stuck around a bit, ended up missing two eastbounds on the way back home, but this wasnt no ordinary run back home to Michiigan. On the way back called an old friend to see if he was available, which he wasnt (ill see him next time). While there Either 6K4, or 64K (missed the other one) and this westbound with BNSF power. I didnt stick around long and deccided to head over to Walbridge yard just to see if anything was there. Yes something was there but Ill get to that here in the next replys. Sitting were CSX YN@ 136 wide open for pics, CSX 4770 and one other.

While yes this is my first one to see in person, I was kinda awestruck as to the scheme itself. Very well designed, and Fire Engine red, oh Hell Yea. It came in on M225 and went out on M428 once it got up to my neck of the woods, but no matter. I got this bad boy WIDE OPEN! Im still a bit giddy I even stumbled on it.
Next and last reply is front middle and back of 911. Michael Fair Royal Oak, MI Date: 02/28/26 18:32 Re: Invading train1275 in Lake Erie land yesterday Author: bath_wildcat Front, middle, and tail of CSXT 911. This was oh holy Crap and IT was AWESOME!

Those burgers you had at Big Ed's sure looked good. Next time I'll join you and we'll spend more time, although that quick ice cream cone sure went down nice, thanks! Glad you got a few catches in Lake Erie Land, but that 1st Responders unit is a real standout. See you again soon.
