Former CSX SD60s headed for the North country
Author: EL833

The first photo is a CSX westbound at Akron, Ohio on 03-23-2001 with (ex BN) 8787 in the lead. Fast forward to 03-26-2026 and this same unit, now owned by LTEX, is again headed west on M369, with what I was told is a destination of the LS&I in upper Michigan. LTEX #8708 was also in tow. The current photos were taken in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Thank you for the before and after.  LS&I may not have as much need for the air conditioners mounted on the roof as  CSX has.

Maybe use the A/C units' air filters to screen out black flies and mosquitoes?
