In 2023, it was reported that Georgia Central GP7 #1713 would be scrapped to comply with a US EPA order.

I'm wondering if anyone here knows whether this unit has already been scrapped (and if so, when and where), or if it still exists somewhere and is awaiting scrapping.

This unit was one of the few remaining locomotives from the Detroit & Toledo Shore Line. It also wore a commemorative bicentennial paint scheme for that railroad, which (as best as I can tell) was the only bicentennial scheme to feature the star logomark.
