Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX X275, a rolling art exhibitionDate: 04/07/26 03:29 CSX X275, a rolling art exhibition Author: CSX2605 Last evening had an X275 pass by me near Vincennes, IN. It was a rolling art exhibition display. The train was all empty autoracks for the Princeton, IN Toyota manufacturing plant. X275 parked 87 racks in Decker siding then took the remaining 37 to Princeton and parked them in Gibson siding. The power was taken to Howell Yard in Evansville, IN. The local, L372, will pick these cars up and deliver to Toyota.

Vernon Sargent Greencastle, IN Date: 04/07/26 04:53 Re: CSX X275, a rolling art exhibition Author: ClubCar No, sorry, I do not appreciate all that graffiti on railroad cars. I just cannot understand how these cars continue to be vandalized with all the railroad and other police going by and through rail yards, yet these people can find a way to do this and not get caught. What a sick sad world we have.
John in White Marsh, Maryland Date: 04/07/26 06:09 Re: CSX X275, a rolling art exhibition Author: CP8888 As noted the cars are parking in sidings that are probably unprotected.
How long do you think it will take the perps to find them? In any case it is obvious the railroads and owners do not have much concern about paint vandalism. I think if a vandal grafittied your automobile, or your residence, you might have a different opinion of it.

Spuds are about 7 days ahead of schedule. Corn going in the ground right now. Go time!! Date: 04/07/26 19:12 Re: CSX X275, a rolling art exhibition Author: CSX2605 Topfuel Wrote:

A solar or windmill farm is basically the same damn thing in my opinion. All this Givernment money thrown out there for the "fly by night" energy outfits to grab by leasing all this farmland for unreliable energy is like graffiti only instead of paint it is done with some Ben Franklin's. Agree! And while I do not appreciate nor condone graffiti, occasionally you do see some incredible artistic talent which is more than I can say for those windmill farms destroying the landscape. As far as railroad cops go, yeah.......sure lol........ |
