Chessie Lives!
Author: scraphauler

CLNA 8089, a retired CSX aggregate hopper, found its way into m.o.w ballast service on the Carolina Coastal in thelate 2010s.  Car was in faded/rusted CHESSIE paint coming off CSX.  Using a little black and yellow paint and the original paint job as a "paint by numbers" guide, car has been "restored" to its CHESSIE appearance. Car seen 4/8/26 in Wilson NC.
