This was one of thse days after you get skunked several times while waiting on these two IC SD70s and yes the class unit 1000 came back.  Im not sure what is going on with CN (reference my IC SD70s roaming thread) yet the same two (1017 and 1019) along with the class unit 1000 keep getting sentg back to my neck of the woods.  I am actually happy to see them, but getting skunked every time the last few days was harsh.  

Today I hit paydirt. First up is CN L508 with IC 1000 leading CN 2973.  They pulled ahead and backed into Moterm, and this is anbout the best I could get, but im happy with it.  Included is the Hourglass rack.  Thanks you to whoever explained what this is.  I looked into it and learned alot about this type of autorack.

And heres the twins-IC 1017 and 1019 as power for CN L507.  I had a slight heads up these two were back (came in on an X116 a few days ago) however it was just not in the cards to get them the last few days.  

Today would have been four (IC 1032 ttrailing on E251) but ill settle for three out of the four.

Interesting! So, the first SD70s were units like the SD40s. I imagined the SD70M were the first models.

These are spartan cab SD70s and IIRC was actually an added cost to the locomotive as I think EMD at the time had switched over to the widecab design.
