They have done a nice job showing the heritage of each car, but AI must have proof-read the roster as it has a few errors. One car they show as built by Budd and they show a Pullman-Standard builder's plate, and one car is built by Pullman-Standard and they show a Budd builder's plate.

Dan Posted from iPhone Date: 05/01/26 05:52 Re: CSX Kentucky Derby Office Car Special w/Heritage Information Author: swaool Thanks for posting the video and the roster info. I have a couple of comments regarding the dome cars. The "Presidents Car" (previously the Joseph R. Hinrich) should be CSXT 994530. It was built by Budd in 1950 for the Wabash "Blue Bird" train, but was never named "Blue Bird Dome"; it was simply WAB 201. Later N&W 1611 and then Amtrak 9561. CSXT 994526, the "James M. Foote" should be a Budd-built car, not P/S. It was originally C&O 1850, intended to be named "Belle Isle Dome" for the "Chessie" streamliner that never was, then became B&O "Moonlight Dome". It also ran as an SCL car on the "Florida Special"; see discussion in this thread: https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?11,5871671, and here: https://trainweb.us/web_lurker/CO/
