NS B Line in Shenandoah Valley meetings report
Author: holiwood

The 3 public meetings by VDOT on Rail with Trail or tearing up track for a trail
were held. A survey form could be filled out but there no comments from public.
Same as before.
https://publicinput.com/svrwt is survey link. it is open until May 13.  We need
as many responces as possible, does not matter where they are from, to keep
tracks from being tore up.   Restoring rail just needs State to say Rail with Trail,

Thanks for your support

Just went to the site and filled out the survey! Sure hope they are able to keep the rail line intact!

Done.

My interest is I-81 congestion from heavy trucks. Makes sense to me to preserve a rail line now, rather than carving out a new ROW later through developed areas.

Thanks
Way too many trucks on I-81. Accidents and backups every week
and there these tracks set unused
