One CSX at RO on the RF&P this afternoon.

Got off work and caught wind that One CSX 4720 was leading a Newell, PA to Cross, SC Loaded Coal down the Metropolitain sub headed for the RF&P.

Got to long bridge park in time to wait, and wait, and wait some more for it to get its turn to head south admist the afternoon passenger rush.

Finally, it's on the move and the sun which had been hiding behind the clouds popped out long enough.

This is a one and only engine, not a new paint scheme. Employee tribute eng., similar to NS's Moving the Weight of the World. I believe it's been out a couple years now and I have not seen it either.

I was just looking at these images that I took on March 20, 2025 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 4720 and a friend were on an empty alcohol train on UP rails heading to western Iowa for loading.  There was a nice group of fans out this day seeing this nice locomotive.
