Too much red, IMO. Try a balance of RWB next time.

Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Who would have thought of this in 1776 as we walked into Indian country of what became centrtal Penna.  The forts were 20-30 miles away.    Tom Klinger

Looks like a great effort.

My only criticism is that I would make the "1776" on the side of the cab, a bit larger.

I wonder if they will have any special road numbers?

Actually I think there are 6 total rather than 8, don't recall exactly...but will indeed be interesting as to how they will be numbered....

Six is correct:

250 EMD SD70IAC - "The Freedom"
1776 EMD SD70IAC - "The Bell"
2026 EMD SD70IAC - "The Lady Liberty"
8096 GE ES44AC - "The Soaring"
8118 GE ES44AC - "The Stars & Stripes"
8143 GE ES44AC - "The Partriot"

The GE's retain their original numbers.

This is a great looking locomotive, and fine pictures showing off the details The trucks look a little too shiny for me, but 15 minutes on the road will put some grit and dust on them

Nice going, NS
