1. The e/b CSXT M415 (I think) led by ES44AH #774 is tied down on #4 Runner at 08:57. I leave before they start to reposition the DPUs in this over two-mile-long train. Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia 2 & 3. After running around seven gons tied down on the Main, NS K47 shoves them at 10:00 n/b into the former interchange track. 7 & 8. K47 of AC44C6M #4004 + C44-9W #9962 pulls one gon off the interchange track at 10:12, goes to Daniels, the south end of the siding, and a crewman calls the dispatcher. The dispatcher tells the crew they’ll follow 25A. 9. One of the six gons on the interchange track has an interesting graffito. 10. The s/b NS 25A is led at 10:24 by AC44C6Ms #4441 + #4594 in the siding. Ranson, West Virginia 11. A s/b NS train is led at 10:52 by AC44C6Ms #4283 + #4405 + SD70ACe #1168. 12 & 13. A w/b CSXT empty coal train is led at 11:14 by ES44AHs #863 + #712 + CM44ACs #7418 + #7128 + #7329 + #7304 + ES44AHs #3164 + #796. 14. Amtrak 41, CSXT P030, is led by ALC-42 #337 + P42DC #14 at 13:32, about two hours and 15 minutes late.
