Lunch Break Grab Shots-ESPN 1776 in Quakertown, PA
Author: dschlegel

After hearing that the East Penn's 1776 was on public display I decided to quickly drive down to Quakertown to grab a few shots.

I couldn't back up far enough for a full broadside shot but came pretty close.

She's a beautiful locomotive!

Nice.  Does anybody know what the yellow rail joiners signify?

I think they are insulated joints and are where the island circuit for the grade crossing begins.

A signal maintainer could probably add more.
