Caught CSX L600 in Hamlet NC 8/20/26 around 1030 AM.  L600 is a Hamlet based job that works the Hamlet Sub down to Wallace/Cheraw SC (L600 and Amtrak are the only scheduled users of the north end of the Hamlet Sub) as well as works the Monroe Sub out as far as Wadesboro NC.  Today's version is seen here eastbound coming off the Monroe Sub getting ready to cross the diamond with 25 loads of rock out of the Vulcan quarry in Rockinhgam.  Check out the last seven brand new cars.
