Does any body know if the Meridian  Southern
is still in business ???
And how offen do they run to Waynsboro ????

Absolutely still in business and have been getting new (to them) EMD power over the past several months. Three GP15s in solid red with white lettering and one more ex-BNSF GP28M on the way in the same scheme.

This will likely mean the end for the remaining two B23-7s.

The runs to Waynesboro can be about any weekday, they go down one day and back the next account the slow speed on the line. There is no solid schedule to it. They typically leave Meridian around sunrise when they start out of there.
