In the dead of night Tuesday 9/1 - Wednesday 9/2/26, two nb NS manifests brought 11 250th anniversary commemorative units past the Hotel Roanoke's live cam:

- At 2324 Tuesday 9/1/26, Spencer NC to Roanoke manifest NS 165, appropriately led by NS ES44AC 8118, had 13 locomotives up front (!): 6 NS thoroughbreds trailed NS8118 followed by East Penn GP10 1776, Naugatuck U23B 2798, BPRR C44-8W 4434, MBTA GP40MC-3 1776, NYS&W SD45-2 3634, and R&N SD40-2 1776. Presumably these northeast US bound units will be taken north to Enola by a future 12Z manifest.

- About 5 and a half hours later, at 0444 Wednesday 9/2/26, NS Spencer to Bellevue manifest 119 arrived with 4 midwest US bound commemorative units: LSRC SD70M 1776, CRC (Cincinnati Scenic) GP30 1776, and CN's two ES44ACs 1776 and 2026.

Still haven't seen the Delaware Lackawanna unit headed home

As screen-grabbed from the Hotel Roanoke live cam:

At 2105 Wednesday evening 9/2/26, manifest 12Z departed northeast from Roanoke to Enola with NS8118 and the MBTA, B&P and Naugatuck 250th anniversary units in tow.

And about an hour and a half later at 2246, NS Spencer to Roanoke manifest 165 arrived with VA Museum of Transportations NW1776 bicentennial SD45.

Unrelated to the 250th anniversary units, at 2030 Wednesday evening, an SD60E pulled a blue (with yellow stripes) center cab industrial locomotive west toward the yard after coming off the "Punkin Vine"connector - I can't accurately make out the reporting mark but perhaps it's "PNLX"? Anybody have any idea what this locomotive is and what's its story?
