I wonder why CSXT didn't honor Dolly by painting one
of there GE in Pink and putting a salute to dolly on the side.......
Something like we will miss you for every . She was from Tennenesse
and CSX runs a LOT of train thur the state ...........

What we don't know is one might be in the paint shop now...first you have to draw it up....so the painters know what they are doing...then you need stencils to add whatever needs to be on top of the base coat...and it has to take it's turn behind whatever is already being painted. Have paitience....

More importantly, Dolly's likeness, etc. is protected IP, so if CSXT were to want to pursue this, they'd need to go through the fairly lengthy permission request process of her estate which is typically not a fast process, let alone any licensing fees and/or approvals/reviews that would be required. 

So - you can't just slap Dolly on a locamotive and call it good.

Yes. That was also mentioned in the context of the Nashville International Airport.  The owning authority would have to license the use of Ms Parton's name from her estate.

The agreement to rename Palm Beach International Airport for the President specifically says that their will be no royalties paid by the airport, or by vendors on site for the use of the President's name, image and likeness. But it prohibits sales of any airport branded merchandise off-site without permission of the  Trump Inc interests.  I believe the state included that wording when the law directing that change was made official

This story and this image are everywhere right now. I think something like this would look nice on a locomotive.
