Eastern Railroad Discussion > Rock n' Roll on the C&O

Spent a little time trackside Tuesday morning in western Virginia. Caught a westbound empty hopper train on the North Mountain Sub. Check out the video and watch that train rock n' roll on the jointed rail. Also caught 15T with a catfish leading a pair of EMDs. There was also a 5-engine set tied up in the yard at Waynesboro, VA without a train. Anybody know where they came from?

FYI, several other westbounds followed the one I caught on the Piedmont/North Mountain. I believe I counted about six westbounds Monday while listening during the day.
