Phil Date: 02/06/04 11:06 Re: Blue EMD Lashup Yesterday... Author: OCtrainguy I also remember your photo of another SD45-2, the 1702 (in the new NS paint now) not too long ago. That makes two of the SD45-2s on this train this year if I am correct.

The 1701, x-CR 6655 was rerated to a 3000hp SD40-2 status by Conrail along with 6661. I could be wrong though. Also the 1702 in new NS paint last week was on coal drag 508-25. Rick Date: 02/06/04 12:06 Re: Blue EMD Lashup Yesterday... Author: keysubdiv It was a big day for x Conrail units around Allentown. Besides the M8G, 11J had the 5429 on the lead, 45A had the 6717 on the lead and 19G had the 8306 (C40-8) all in blue paint. Not sure if the 5429 is still blue though.

Author: sig292 MG8 operated over the Port Reading sec. to oak Island. At MP 5 the crew found a small fire on board # 5427. It was quickly put out and the train continued East.
