Author: wlankenau I believe archbar trucks were banned from interchange in 1940. Andrews trucks were outlawed in 1958. The "fluted" wheels were cast iron, and they could not be installed on new or rebuilt cars after 1958. Cast iron wheels were banned from interchange in 1970. K brakes were outlawed in interchange in 1954.
