Rio Grande Cabeese kit @ RPM meet.
Author: rnb3

Looks like a special treat for fans of the Rio Grande 01400 series caboose. A new company called ProtoWest will be showing off their newest resin kits of the riveted version of the Rio Grande caboose starting tomorrow at the Rocky Mountain RPM meet. I got a peak a couple weeks ago at a test shot kit that was built up and they are looking pretty sweet! They have a few pictures on their webpage.

The Rocky Mountain RPM meet starts tomorrow and runs through Saturday. Directions, times, and events are at;

Both Railyard Models and Intermountain will be there, hopefully with some goodies to show and tell!

If your in Colorado this weekend stop in, or better yet bring a model to show! It will be fun!

Wow, looks very nice! I plan on being in the Denver area the weekend of the 18th. Anything going on modeling wise? Open houses or the like?

If you mean the weekend ending the day before the 18th, we are working at the new museum in Greeley on that Saturday(the 16th). There's a 5000 sq ft layout in the middle of the museum, that is a ways from finished, for that matter the museum isn't actually open yet, but still something to see. Usually on Saturday, if you knock, or the door is open, someone will give you the ten cent tour and may even put you to work! To give you an idea check out http://www.gfsm.org/. The site is not up to date but you'll get the picture!

Believe me Dave, I am trying every excuse I can think to get out there! One of these days, it will work! So Mr Boss, I can hand deliver that email for you to California...Why yes dear, every family must visit that part of the county, I think it's the law...
