Model Railroading > HO Scale EOTDate: 06/07/07 21:23 HO Scale EOT Author: Charles Does any one make a modern (the taller one) EOT? I don't need a lighted one as I have a bunch of flashers that I can install in one. Details West makes a older (short) EOT, but I am looking for a taller one.
Charles Date: 06/07/07 23:01 Re: HO Scale EOT Author: funnelfan Sunrise makes a working EOT like the one you are looking for.
Ted Curphey Ontario, OR Date: 06/08/07 01:23 Re: HO Scale EOT Author: MrMRL It comes with a flasher already installed, but Ring Engineering makes a great ETD!

I don't think I could make anything that looked as good, and you don't have to fuss with batteries or switches, as they pick up track power. On DC, they are only on when you are running the train (there has to be track power). On DCC, as long as they're on live rail, they are on. They also install very easily. I have yet to install them but they are the best looking that I have ever seen. Brian Date: 06/08/07 06:34 Re: HO Scale EOT Author: wheel_slip I've posted this before, but here is an image of the Ring eot that is referred to in the posts above... Expensive, but they are fantastic.

Nick Date: 06/08/07 22:52 Re: HO Scale EOT Author: mcdeo I've seen these in person, a bit new for my era, but yes, the most accurate ones I've seen. And seem to be the easiest of the bunch to install. Swap a truck, you're done. Keep thinking of picking up 1 or 2 just to have. I've always wanted a flat car or empty gondola with one. Maybe an empty well car.
