Model Railroading > Michael Burgett's C&O Model RailroadDate: 12/28/09 08:59 Michael Burgett's C&O Model Railroad Author: wabash2800 By now many of you have heard of his fully signaled Clifton Forge Division in HO.
Here is a link to his website with photos and video clips. He also sells CTC signal components and is a professional railroader in the signaling department(CN?). Allen Keller recently produced a video of the layout and I hope to purchase it as soon as I get back to work. I believe his layout was also featured in Kalmbach's 2010 Great Model Railroads magazine. http://www.cliftonforgediv.com/index.html Our own Art House here at trainorders also has a nice C&O layout. Look under user aehouse for photos. Edited 4 time(s). Last edit at 12/28/09 10:25 by wabash2800. Date: 12/28/09 09:08 Re: Michael Burgett's C&O Model Railroad Author: ts1457 Outstanding!

Fantastic workmanship throughout - really a beauty of a pike - in EVERY aspect. Thanks for the kind endorsement, but my C&O layout is not in the same league with Mike's superb work. Not even close. Mike's an across-the-board craftsman, one of the very best. In addition to the 567's, I was hoping to hear some radio communication btw the trains or one of the trains and the dispatcher... I hope Allen Keller's video is a good one. Speaking of C&O, Eugene Huddleston's photography of the C&O is superb isn't it? I don't model the C&O but I have several all color books that feature his photography. They're keepers. And on the more technical side, he's figured out how to use time locking and route locking as part of the signal system. Now that would be a fun layout to operate.
