One of the very first things that got me hooked on trains was stumbling onto a copy of a book about the Galveston-Houston interurban. That book really changed my life in fact as before then I was a floundering beer drinking, drug induced fool in my early 20's and the book actually gave me some direction. Who knows, if might have even saved my life. Bet you didn't expect that from your picture post! Date: 02/26/10 15:53 Re: Layout Progress Author: DKay ArgyleEagle Wrote:

I can relate Shane. After the booze ,chicks ,and fast cars of my teens and early 20's,I picked up a copy of RMC(early 70's I think). In it was an article on Allen McLelland's V&O.I was on the path to redemption from then on .I still like all of the above ,but in moderation <G> Regards,Daryl Kay.
