If the skirts are off, I thought the diaphrams came off too at the same time?

I called Factory Direct Trains to double check my pre-order for these cars. They stated that all of the cars should be arriving over the next 3 to 4 months. After 4 years of waiting I can't believe the cars are finally on thier way. The BLI ad states that "If you thought our California Zephyrs were good, you will love these!"

Interesting, I received an eMail from MTH yesterday stating two of the Daylight coaches have been shipped, and will be in the stores by June 15th.

Folks;

Looks like the ultimate smack down is finally here. MTH vs. BLI. This ought to be on pay per view.
Who will be the winner?
What picture will Mr. MRL post?
Who will be flamed first?
Who will have has hard earned model $$$ wasted?

I'm thinking that MTH will be flamed first on this one. Especially since they have announced the Daylight cars painted for ATSF, PRR, D&H and several other roads.

...well, this is good news and bad news all at the same time, really good news that they're finally coming, and kinda bad news that they're all coming at close to the same time. I was hoping to have the car deliveries spread out a bit so they can be a bit more "affordable". I've put my name down for twelve cars, 1 Baggage, 2 each articulated 2-car chairs, the 3 car articulated coffee car, a chair, parlor, tavern and the parlor observation. Put those all together with the GS4 and we're talking almost thirteen hundred buckeroos...!!

...what do you think about the look of the pre-production shots of the BLI GS4?
