Model Railroading > LED for HO scale ditch lights

Can anyone recommend a source of LED that might fit inside an Athearn SD70 ditch light? It is an above the walkway light so I need to get it inside a hollowed out part. I have a unit that had a small light bulb in it but it doesn't seem to do the trick. The previous owner merely put the bulb pointing up inside the part and there isn't enough glow coming out like one would expect to see. The wire needs to be bent around such that there is a beam projected from the ditch light itself.

Thinking there may be an alternative, has anyone done it with a small enough miniatronics bulb or LED?

www.richmondcontrols.com has a great selection of LED's
make sure you get the one's with leads on them.

Thanks: I'll get the LEDs with Leads otherwise I'll have to solder Leads to the LEDs. For some reason I have this sudden urge to watch my video of "Airplane" (or "Flying High" as it was called down here).
