Operating on The ATSF NM Division.
Author: TheGrande

My first operating session on Bob Foltz ATSF New Mexico Division. He brilliantly models the ATSF between Raton and Albuquerque New Mexico. He was recently featured in the Model Railroader, as well as the NMRA magazine.

Picture 1: In Santa Fe, the Doodle Bug prepares to take passengers down the branch line to connect with other ATSF trains in Lamby.
Picture 2: A shot of Bob's award winning Santa Fe Depot. Yard tracks in the foreground, with DRGW Narrow gauge in the background. Bob also models the DRGW Chili Line out of Santa Fe.
Picture 3: Another ATSF unit in Santa Fe which would be used later to pick up cars from Lamby.

Picture 10: The main feature on the layout, the massive yard in Las Vegas NM.
Picture 11: The engine facilities in Las Vegas.
Picture 12: The Summit of the layout, Glorieta. This scratch built Depot marks the end of the grade on the layout. Which climbs almost 20 inches from Las Vegas. And 12" from Lamby.

There's no "B" in the Lamy on Bob's layout. LOL. And it is a great layout to operate!

Bob has an amazing layout, which operates extremely well, and he is a great, friendly guy. Was hoping to make the last session but busy with work of course. Hope to get down there again sooner than later.
