Is Athearn making 8500 HP turbine and tenders? I hear people talk about it, but I don't see any product announcement.

Given what appears to be the poor sales of the turbines and U50's to date (anyone know differently? ) I'd think it is unlikely. Horizon is selling them off for less than my LHS bought them for wholesale. I was hoping for an ABA set of C-855's but I'm thinking that might never happen too. I hope I'm wrong on all counts...

That looks like the Batter-sea Power Station in London. Don't need Turbines as I'm making the change to logging, all the UP power is going. Well most of it.

Indeed it is, from Pink Floyd's 1977 'Animals' album. The story goes that while photographing promos for the release date the helium-filled inflatable pig broke loose and floated across London.

A current Google Earth view of the station shows the yard and sheds in the foreground are (not surprisingly) gone, though the main lines and the suspension road bridge in the background are still there.

Always nice when my favourite band and favourite hobby go together.
