EMD 1201 Model.
Author: DKay

I have been enjoying all the recent pics and posts http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,2968581 on the western board regarding the CAT/EMD loco. Can we expect a model of this loco any time soon ,or is it tied up in Trade Mark issues. That is one smart beast.
regards,dK

Overland has made a formal announcement on releasing this model. Probably will hit the streets late 2013 to early 2014. If Athearn announced it today it wouldn't hit the streets until at least 10 months from now. MTH could also make a run at this as well as Bachmann, but none have made any announcements.

Ya they can keep it. Not going to buy what I can get in plastic. Now what I REALLY wish OMI would do is the F40PHM-2/3C's (stretched commuter F40 variants used by Coaster, Tri Rail, MBTA, ACE and Caltrans). If that happened.....I'd be off to the bank.
