Except, I'm gonna have to model CN 8888! Mr. MRL Date: 11/08/13 15:20 Re: New Athearn ACe's Author: nsscot first group to 8849 don't have the rubber gasket around the cab this was the next 3 orders. sorry to bust your bubble on the 8888 number.

I'm still patiently waiting for those phantom CN DASH-8s... Mr. MRL Date: 11/08/13 15:30 Re: New Athearn ACe's Author: rschonfelder No sign of a BHP unit or FMG I suppose. And I don't need to hear the tooling costs story. It would cost next to nothing if it was right beside the North American handrails on the tooling.
At least one of the 10 BNSF units diverted to BHP would be neat. Rick Date: 11/09/13 09:04 Re: New Athearn ACe's Author: fbe There may be hope for the MRL 4400 and MRL 4401 in the redball paint. Rumor is we could see MRL 4402 and 4403 under the Christmas tree as well on the prototype line.

Don't know if they'll retool the under frame or not. Posted from iPhone Date: 11/09/13 18:52 Re: New Athearn ACe's Author: fbe I could live with that little discrepancy. There are after market etchings to rectify the problem if needed. Do any of these newer units have the six step feature or is the MRL the only road going this way?
