What would be REALLY NICE is for someone to video this and put it on YouTube. I'm sure there are a lot of us who are interested in what Mr. Dickens has to say but can't make the show. (hint, hint)

We would like to do that with all our presentations, but don't have the personnel resources to make it happen as we are all volunteers. If anyone out there is interested in volunteering to help the show, please contact me.

It's possible that Mr. Dickens will not want to be recorded.

Maybe the Washington Post can send their Pinocchio Tracker out for this.

By the way there is an Athearn ad in the new MR about their new N and HO 4-8-8-4
and how " restoration is now underway" and that it will take 5 years for the 4014 to
ride he rails once again ( didn't say under steam ?.. )

I'd like to ask him how it was that when the program was handed to him he had two operable steam engines and numerous operable historic diesels. Now he has no operable steam engines, E units with flat wheels and a shop he deemed unsuitable for restoration work, and not a single employee left with steam experience. "Mr Speaker, exactly how have you personally improved on what Steve Lee left you?"
