Model Railroading > NW5Date: 01/08/17 05:06 NW5 Author: Brakeman Does anyone make an NW5 in HO scale besides Overland/OMI?
Date: 01/08/17 08:50 Re: NW5 Author: fbe No. It will be a kitbash involving available EMD switch engines, GP chassis and plastic sheeting.

Date: 01/08/17 12:28 Re: NW5 Author: fbe Thirteen were built. GN in two, possibly three paint variations. BN Cascade green, Southern tuxedo, Union Belt of Detroit and a later home chop nose for Olin Matheson.
This could be a reason for Scale Trains to build Blomberg B trucks useful for so many possible later projects. Good luck with the sales pitch. Date: 01/08/17 19:14 Re: NW5 Author: LarryDoyle Interesting that No. 61 has a cast frame, which should make it an NC-5! Here's GN NW-5 192 for comparison, which has a welded frame.

I did enjoy seeing the 192 shown in the previous post during a visit to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Duluth. Hope this helps. Hiroshi fbe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No. It will be a kitbash involving available EMD > switch engines, GP chassis and plastic sheeting.
