Model Railroading > LED Lights that look like High Pressure SodiumDate: 03/13/17 21:59 LED Lights that look like High Pressure Sodium Author: tehachapi-dave Has anyone figured out how to make an LED look like a High Pressure Sodium light with its orange color. I'm building the cement plant at Monolith and would like to put lights that look like HPS on the plant.
Thanks, Dave Date: 03/13/17 23:22 Re: LED Lights that look like High Pressure Sodium Author: MMD Try coating the LED with Tamiya Clear Orange paint, that may work.

Flare out the ends with a heat source. Maybe lighty scuff the surface of the flared out portion so the light "throws" less forward and scatters across the building. HPS aren't focused; they like to flood. Posted from Android Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/14/17 12:48 by Hookdragkick.
